Stunning Chinese Pagoda birdcage with bamboo and carved detail. This lovely vintage Pagoda bamboo birdcage has a towering 2 tiered pagoda from the thin strips of bamboo with a sinuous dragon appearing in various carved elements on the cage. Dragons are a Chinese symbol of power and good fortune. Originally this pagoda birdcage had thin strips of bamboo holding up the 2nd level, but many were missing, so to save it we made it a smaller birdcage. I love the shape and detailed carvings even though it is not perfect, we saved it:)
The top lifts off easily and can be a beautiful decorative piece, an unusual sculptural object, not for use as a birdcage. It has amazing warm patina on the bamboo and wood from age. I will price it on sale...Gorgeous Vintage Pagoda Birdcage for displayed and Decor. Love it!💕🌸
