Our babouches are manufactured from 100% soft, supple organic leather that has undergone a natural, chemical-free processing procedure utilizing methods inherited from the Middle Ages. Our babouche maker uses a historic skill that has been passed down from generation to generation to handmake the babouche after the leather has been hand-dyed in our bespoke variety of colors.

The babouche may smell strongly like leather when first purchased because no chemical de-oderizers are employed during the leather preparation procedure. These babouches could have some flaws and blemishes because they are handmade.
